35 Weeks

35 weeks  marks a few milestones here at home. Week 35, bought a van. Week 35, several bags of milk frozen. Week 35, just hours away from boarding a flight that will take us to the place where our babies and surrogate are.
 I LOVE WEEK 35, but I bet I will LOVE WEEK 37 MORE!

34 Weeks and 4 Days

Surprise Ultra Sound report today.

Amniotic Fluid is high, that is the only concern at this point. Waiting to hear from the OB.

Twin 1 weighing 1769 grams, 3lbs 14 oz Measuring 32 weeks and 1 day.

Twin 2 weighing 2027 grams , 4lbs 7 oz Measuring 32 weeks and 5 days.

34 Weeks

We are 34 Weeks and again,all is quiet.   On the home front, I am packed, sort of...   just a few little things to pack last minute.  I started Maternity leave today and the paper work is filed.  Working on my milk supply this week, seems to be going up daily but not at the level I was expecting.  Making milk is hard work!  This week is all about me, resting, eating, massage and acupuncture, drinking tea and a ton of supplements to boost my supply to meet our babies needs.  
Our flight is book for this coming Sunday, I am so very excited to spend some time in India before the babies come and do some rest and relaxation away from home and some shopping!

33 Weeks

We are 33 weeks along now and yesterday I was just basking in the fact that things are quiet. This morning I woke up to a surprise email with scan and report . I was expecting this scan and report next Monday.

So far all seems well, however, we usually get this scan and then about 3- 5 days later get another email from the OB telling us what they don't like about the scan.... so I am bracing myself this week.

Our stats this week are :

Twin 1 Measuring 30 weeks and 5 days Weighing 1524 Grams, 3 Pounds 5 ounces.

Twin 2 Measuring 31 weeks and 2 days. Weighing 1782 Grams, 3 pounds 14 ounces.

Not quite the 4 pounds I was hoping for, but we are close and we have another 4 weeks to go in belly to grow...... so grow, grow, grow. And Ms. S please stay pregnant for another 4 weeks.

My intended travel date is still 2 weeks away.

We can not wait to meet these little ones!

32 Weeks

I can not believe we are 32 weeks! This past week, all was quiet and all the tests run have come back positive and there is nothing new to report. Our next Ultra Sound will be in 2 weeks. We will be in Delhi in 3 weeks.... Babies can come after that or hold on until the 15th of November.

It is Thanksgiving here in Canada and we are off to have our turkey dinner with family. Happy Thanksgiving all! I have so many things to be grateful for this year!

31 Weeks

So the quiet is not so quiet. We did get that email you hope not to get at 31 weeks. Nothing is bad or out of the ordinary but they want to keep a closer eye on Ms S. and the babies since one is measuring smaller. Knowing this is normal, for one twin to be measuring smaller than the other, I am still worried and pray that we hold out till 35 weeks minimum, with the preferred 37 weeks still in my mantra.

We are just checking fetal heart rates and doing day care admissions to hospital at this point.

Ok now babies, GROW GROW GROW, get big and strong and wait, it is not time yet.

My bags are packed, everything is now ready, but at the same time I/we are not ready........
