10 months, Crawling, Standing, Teeth, and Taking steps, Climbing stairs.....

10 months have passed by so fast. 

This past month, Milena learnt how to climb the stairs, 

get in to a standing position directly from the floor on her own  

and can take up to 4-5 steps . 

 So not really walking, but really close.  

 She also has 6 teeth now and teething has not been to much of an issue with either of the girls. 

Nevaeh is crawling, pulling herself up and standing and walking with the assistance of furniture.  

She also got her first tooth, top right second space, Lateral Incisor,  on Sept 6, 2012 and today we found another poking through on the left centre bottom.

Really trying to stay in the moment as much as I can and loving every moment of it. 

9 Months

This month there were more changes.  Nevaeh is on the move now, crawling.  Milena is standing all the time and when she is not, she can usually be found sprawled out on the ground  with a bump on the head.  This forced us to go out and buy 2 area rugs. It did not help at all, these two look for hardwood. 

I can stand using furniture and I can stand by myself for several seconds. 

I am so happy to be on the move now! 

The girls are much more interactive, in fact, we now can find them laughing at each other and reaching out to touch the other.  They have been taking toys from each other for a while, but this is different there is acknowledgement between them.

We went away for a week in July to OK Falls. The girls enjoyed some pool time.

35 Weeks / 8 Months

 Here we are at 35 weeks, the same gestational age the paediatrician said the girls were at birth, even though our calculations were that they were born at 36 weeks and 3 days.     We stick to the 35 weeks, and adjust for their age and milestones.   

It is really something to put in perspective that these little beings grew in the most beautiful uterus for 35 weeks and then out in this world for 35 weeks and look how much things have changed and grown.

8 Months 

I really love these very fun babies and I am pretty sure they like me too.... 

34 Weeks

So now we have one baby (Milena)  with 4 teeth. These teeth are coming in fast and furious.  Maybe she will get a little break from the teething for a little while.  Meanwhile, Nevaeh is still enjoying her toothless grins and watching all things around her.  

Sometimes this is the only way to contain an active baby.

I can get up on my knees still, but I go no where for now. 

PUREX is the best toilet paper toy ever! 

I can sit up on my knees now, I am staring to reach for furniture and only get to my knees this week. 

Week 33 and 2 Teeth for 1 Baby.

The news..... Milena has her top right tooth and her bottom right tooth. 

and we are still breastfeeding without any biting!

32 Weeks and a Tooth

This week we celebrated Father's Day ( June 17, 2012)   and had a little Graduation Party for my son.  Milena popped a tooth that very day.   

On June 20, 2012 Milena did her first crawl.  She is still getting the hang of it and not very quick when she crawls, but if she wants something, she will make the effort to move her hands and feet a couple of times before landing on her belly again.  

 Nevaeh, is still just hanging out watching and waiting to catch up. Chewing on her Necklace is her big adventure.  

We went to the doctors this week for a check up and Nevaeh now weighs more than Milena. 

Nevaeh weighs 15 lbs 10 oz and Milena weighs 15 lbs 5 oz.
